Europa League Betting – Can Spurs Stay Top Of Their Group

Tonight’s football features the Europa League and while all of the English clubs are performing well, this week’s games could help to sort out their futures. Tottenham go into tonight’s game heading their group, however, a loss could upset their chances of making it through to the knockout stage. Spurs head their group with seven points ahead of PAOK on five and Rubin Kazan on four. Tonight’s game has Spurs traveling to Kazan to take on Rubin – and a win for Rubin will bring them level with Spurs on seven points. PAOK should win against the Shamrock Rovers (who are yet to earn a point) sending them clear at the top.

Bookmakers have Rubin as odds on favourites in Europa League betting to win tonight with odds edging 3/4. Spurs are 4/1 and the draw 3/1. Much will depend on the attitude of Spurs. If they can come away with a point they’ll be happy since it keeps Rubin behind them in the group table. We’re tipping the draw at 3/1.

Stoke are the surprise leaders of Group E and tonight they travel to Israel to take on Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Bookmakers are wary of this match quoting Maccabi at 2/1 and Stoke at 6/4. This is another game where the draw (12/5) makes logical sense. If Stoke can take home the point, it will keep them level on top no matter what happens in the other group game. This is another game where we think the draw is good value.

Birmingham and Fulham are at home in the remaining two games and bookmakers have them well into the red. They both need to win these home games if they are to have any hope of proceeding through to the group stages.
